Mission Work
During the last year, the Ladies’ Society has been involved in two local community projects. The Mustard Seed project (so named because of a matching grant from the UCC NH Women’s Council) encourages literacy and basic Christian values in the preschool children of the Shining Lights preschool. For the second project, the women of the Ladies’ Society “adopted” a room to refurbish at the Burch House, a shelter for battered women and their children.
