Prayer Shawl Ministry
The Ladies Society creates and gives prayer shawls to members of the congregation who are experiencing exceptional difficulty in their lives, and who would benefit from the emotional and physical comfort of a woolen shawl that represents our love and prayers. Several members of the Society get together at someone’s home or at the church to knit the shawls. The shawls are presented to the recipients with one of many special prayers and a card containing the thoughts and best wishes of members of the Ladies’ Society.
